About Token Ranking
What is Price and how is it calculated?
Price shows the current token value in USD and XRP equivalent. We calculate it from volume-weighted average across XRPL DEX and centralized exchanges (CEX) we track. If a token isn't listed on CEX, we show DEX price only. The 24h/7d % columns show price change percentage over the last 24 hours and 7 days.
What is Market Cap?
Market capitalization (Market Cap) is calculated as Price × Circulating Supply. It's used to measure a token's relative size and compare different tokens. Note: Accurately tracking market cap on XRPL requires estimating circulating supply vs. team-controlled tokens, which isn't always precise - our numbers may differ from other sources.
What are Holders and Traders?
Holders shows the total number of wallets holding non-zero balance of the token, indicating community size. Traders (7d) shows the 7-day moving average of unique wallets actively trading the token, indicating trading activity and liquidity.
What is trading volume?
We show two volume metrics: DEX Vol. (24h) is trading volume on XRPL DEX only over the last 24 hours. Vol. (24h) is total trading volume across both XRPL DEX and centralized exchanges over the last 24 hours. Higher volume generally indicates more liquidity and easier trading.
How can I verify if a token is legitimate and avoid scams?
Start with the issuer. Look up the token's issuer r-address on an XRPL explorer such as xrpscan.com or livenet.xrpl.org, and compare it with the address published on the project's official website and social channels.
Legitimate projects usually show several of these signals: domain verification on XRPL, a 'Require Auth' flag on the issuer account, a multi-signature setup, verified social accounts and an active community.
Common scams include fake tokens named after real projects, airdrops of worthless tokens that lure you to fake sites, rug pulls where the team disappears after raising funds, pump and dump schemes, and copycat websites or social profiles.
Red flags are a name that mimics a popular token, no official website or socials, promises of guaranteed returns, pressure to invest quickly, and an anonymous team with no track record.
Protect yourself: verify the issuer address on official channels, ignore tokens that arrive in your wallet uninvited, research the team, roadmap and community, be skeptical of guaranteed returns, and never share your wallet secret or seed phrase.
XPMarket automatically indexes every token on the decentralised XRP Ledger. Being listed is not an endorsement. Always DYOR before investing.
Is XPMarket safe to use?
XPMarket is a data aggregator that tracks and displays token information. We do not hold custody of funds, execute trades, provide financial advice or endorse specific tokens. When you trade, you interact directly with the XRPL DEX through your own wallet, or connect to a centralised exchange independently. XPMarket only provides the interface to view data.
We verify basic project information such as website and social links, and filter tokens by activity criteria for the 'Filtered' view. Being shown on XPMarket does not guarantee legitimacy. Crypto investments carry high risk, so always DYOR and only invest what you can afford to lose.
