About AMM Trends
What is TVL (Total Value Locked)?
TVL represents the total USD value of all assets currently deposited in AMM liquidity pools. It's a key metric indicating the overall health and adoption of the AMM ecosystem - higher TVL generally means more liquidity available for traders and lower slippage on trades.
What do Inflow and Outflow mean?
Inflow represents the total value of assets deposited into AMM pools by liquidity providers during a given period. Outflow represents withdrawals from pools. A positive net flow (Inflow > Outflow) indicates growing confidence in the AMM ecosystem, while negative flow may suggest liquidity providers are taking profits or repositioning.
How are trading fees calculated?
On XRPL, each AMM pool has a configurable trading fee (typically 0.1% to 1%) that is charged on every swap. These fees are distributed proportionally to liquidity providers based on their share of the pool. The fees shown here represent the total USD value of fees collected across all tracked pools.
What does XRP Pooled mean?
XRP Pooled shows the total amount of XRP currently locked in AMM liquidity pools. Since most trading pairs on XRPL involve XRP, this metric gives insight into how much XRP is being used to provide liquidity for decentralized trading.
Who are Contributors?
Contributors are unique wallet addresses that have deposited liquidity into AMM pools. This metric shows how many individual participants are actively providing liquidity to the ecosystem, indicating the level of community participation in decentralized market making.
Why are some pools not included in these statistics?
To ensure accurate and meaningful data, we filter out pools with potentially inflated or unreliable metrics. Our calculations focus on the Top 100 tokens according to XPMarket's Token Ranking, providing trustworthy data on inflows, outflows, TVL, and trading volume for significant assets only.
What time intervals can I view?
You can analyze AMM trends across different time frames: Week (last 7 days), Month (last 30 days), YTD (year-to-date from January 1st), and All Time (complete historical data). You can also switch between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly data aggregation to see granular or summarized trends.
