I drew Princess Kaguya from the Japanese folk tale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter." The story begins with an old couple who find a tiny girl inside a bamboo stalk, whom they name Princess Kaguya. As she grows, she becomes incredibly beautiful, attracting many suitors, but she reveals her destined r...eturn to the Moon. In the end, Kaguya-hime is taken back to the Moon, and the couple grieves yet cherishes her memory. *During certain periods, people shaved their eyebrows to make their expressions harder to read.
