Corporal Nurgle is a relic and the last of his kind. His ancestors were the evolutionary bridge between the huge dragons from thousands of years ago and the humanoid reptilians that rule the world today and like many different sub-species on the planet, he still retains a little dragon magic e.g. his glowing eyes allow him to see for miles both day and night. Nurgle now trains soldiers in combat skills and runs a rescue centre for stray lizards.
